WHAT A SATURDAY NIGHT ON THE FARM!
On Sat.June 21 The Arkansas Revival Center Choir filled the Cummins Prison
Chapel with glorious praise prompting repeated standing ovations from the
extremely appreciative inmates.Micah Daniel Jackson played his guitar( with his
signature enthusiasm )and led the capacity audience in powerful
singing!Mrs.Tonya Lollar exploded on to the stage with her incomparable
rendition of the Gospel classic "He'll Do It Again" Rev.James Walker prayed with
great annointing...then Rev.Tony Minick presented Evangelist Paul Jackson who
preached a strong sermon on "The Cross".Several times he was interupted by
exuberant applause. The presence of God was at a saturation level as Mr.Jackson
extended the invitation for men to come forward to receive Christ.More than 40
men answered Paul Jackson's call and surged to the front to pray...seeking
eternal salvation in the mercy of Jesus. TO GOD BE THE GLORY!!
After the service dismissed,Evangelist Jackson(along with several men with the
ARC team)stood in "the yard" and prayed with individual men for more than an
hour.Plans for a return trip to Cummins are being made for later in the year.
REVIVAL FIRES ABLAZE AT TUCKER!!!
It is almost impossible to describe the atmosphere that invaded the Tucker
Prison Chapel on Saturday July 5th. Evangelist Paul Jackson led his Arkansas
Revival Center Team into a second major prison in only two weeks. They were met
by an overflow crowd of in-mates ready to "praise the Lord"!They needed very
little encouragement.Never the less the ARC team came ready to magnify the
Lord!Under the out-standing direction of Mr.Bruce Rodtnick, the ARC Choir once
again "sang down the glory".Evangelist/Worship Leader Micah Daniel Jackson
joined the "prison band" to create some incredible moments of fellowship with
the Lord.As always, Mrs. Tonya Lollar stirred every heart with her "power
singing". Literally...there was not a still foot in "the house" while Tonya was
on the stage! WOW!
The preaching time was just as unusual as the music service.
Mr.Jackson,under an unmistakable annointing,brought a blistering
exhortation...challenging the professing believers in
the chapel to live their faith among the general population
at the prison. He stressed the need to grow spiritually as
well as emotionally and to "fill the prison with Jesus" by
being faithful witnesses in the daily grind of prison life.
He closed his passionate appeal by making a covenant to establish an ongoing
ministry at Tucker...promising the men
that he would not forget them and would return soon to help
them lead their fellow prisoners to faith in Jesus Christ.
True to his word...ARC leaders are working now to schedule several return
engagements at Tucker for the ARC Team.
Please pray for our next "Prison Praise" service....Aug.29
at the State Prison in Pine Bluff.
