MIGHTY WIND BLOWS THROUGH EAST CAMDEN,ARKANSAS!
The Paul Jackson Crusade at Calvary Baptist Church resulted in more than 300
public decisions for Christ. Overflow attendance required that
the week night services be moved into the Calvary gymnasium. The largest "crowd"
of the Crusade was on the Wed. evening's closing service when Paul preached his
popular sermon,"The Passion of The Christ:The Man,and the movie!". Following
this powerful presentation many people publicly
responded to Mr.Jackson's appeal to "love and trust Jesus". One lady reported to
Crusade leaders that God had used the Wed.
night service to "save" her son's marriage!

The Crusade also included a very effective outreach to youth and children. On
MONDAY,Paul presented the Gospel to more than 70 children
as part of a special pre-service "supper" for Grades 2-6. 30 of these boys and
girls prayed to receive Christ and were counseled by trained
Crusade chidren's workers. This is one of Paul's favorite moments in all
of his Crusades. Dr. Jimmy Draper,President of "Lifeway Publications"(of
the Southern Baptist Convention)has heard Jackson's message and has called it
the "clearest presentation of sin, salvation and responsibility" that he has
heard an Evangelist give to children.
TUESDAY is always "Youth Night" at a Jackson Crusade. The Camden event was a
great example of what the Lord does at these unique services.
Between 160 and 200 students were present to hear Mr.Jackson's sermon,
"The Thief"(from John 10:9&10). More than 70 of these young people came
forward to publicly "claim Christ"...over half of these were "first time"
decisions.Several of these students were football players from Harmony Grove
High School. Paul had delivered "Youth Night" was also attended by hundreds of
adults and children, demonstrating the broad appeal of Jackson's ministry.
GREAT AND GLORIOUS MUSIC...
Every night featured the music of the Crusade Choir under the direction of
Calvary's own Neal Wiggly, and enhanced by the musical talents of Kathy and Paul
Jackson. The Jackson's worked with Neal and the local Choir in advance of the
Crusade, to prepare special presentations of several of Jackson's own
compositions. Paul has many songs published by PRISM music of Franklin TN and
arranged by such noted artists as Lari Goss,Camp Kirkland,Don Marsh and Marty
Hamby.For more info on Paul's
music, log on to: www.pauljacksonmusic.com
On SUNDAY night, about a dozen members of the A.R.C. Choir(from Little Rock)
drove down to sing with the Crusade Choir as they presented some
of Paul's best sellers, including "The Anthem".
The songs "Magnificent Savior" and "All For You" also proved to be audience
favorites!
A FAMILY CONNECTION...
Jackson expressed public appreciation to Pastor Don Phillips for the priviledge
to lead a Crusade in Camden, for the first time in his more
than 30 years of evangelism. An interesting fact to note is that Paul's
Dad, Rev.Johnny Jackson Sr., was Calvary's first Pastor more than 50
years ago. It is exciting to see what an awesome ministry that Calvary has
become! To God be the glory! Great things He has done!
Pray for Pastor Don Phillips and the people of Calvary as they begin
the mission of "Follow-up" discipleship with the dozens of renewed
believers and new converts. To learn more about Calvary Baptist Church,
